1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using Mantra Finance (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License and permitted use
Mantra Technologies grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable license to install and use the App for lawful personal or internal business purposes. The App is provided as a free download unless clearly stated otherwise.
3. Restrictions
You may not sell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the App; bypass security controls; use it for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity; or misrepresent yourself as the developer or official distributor. Rights not expressly granted remain with Mantra Technologies.
4. Your data and backups
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into the App and for maintaining appropriate backups. Test restored data before relying on it. We are not responsible for loss caused by device failure, deletion, corrupted files, failed backups, unavailable third-party services or unauthorized device access.
5. No professional advice
Calculations, summaries, charts, AI responses and reports are informational tools. They are not accounting, tax, audit, legal, investment or other professional advice. Verify important figures and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions or submitting official records.
6. Google and third-party services
Optional features may use Google Drive, Gmail and Gemini. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms, privacy policies, availability rules and usage limits. We do not control or guarantee third-party services. You are responsible for your accounts, permissions, API keys, fees and compliance with provider terms.
7. Updates and availability
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue features or distribution of the App. Updates may change system requirements or these terms. You should download releases only from an official Mantra page.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantra Technologies and its representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption or decisions made using the App. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. Your license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers and liability limitations—will survive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be handled by courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Kenya, subject to any mandatory consumer protections.
